Class 11, accounts tuition — as rivals. We spent that year quietly competing over every mark, then signed up for the same maths tuition and did the whole thing again. Somewhere between the two we became friends. The competing never really stopped.
School ended, tuition stopped, and somewhere in that gap it stopped being friendship. Ten years later we still can't agree on who worked it out first — or, for that matter, who was actually better at accounts.
Har Ki Dun. Akash asked, somewhere up a Himalayan valley — cold, tired, several days from a hot shower and a very long way from an accounts classroom. It turns out that's exactly the right place to ask. There's a photo.
Early mornings on the mat, evenings at the gym, food that fuels us, and a shared belief that the best things in life happen when body, mind and spirit are in sync.
With a techno beat, obviously. If the bass is right, we're there — and our wedding will be no exception.
Probably at the airport. Travel is our shared addiction — new places, new trails, new food scenes (the healthy kind... mostly).
